SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
Nate Packaging strives to continually be at the fore front in eco-friendly packaging development. We believe that its everyone's responsibility to keep our natural resources plentiful and to reduce waste to our landfills by recycling as much of what we use in our everyday life. We are always striving to develop the next cutting edge methods to incorporate post consumer recycle (PCR) materials into our stock and custom designed packages using the most up to date technology. We are constantly challenging the abilities of our processes to incorporate PCR in to packaging to satisfy our customers high sustainability standards in todays consumer product packages. The customers are demanding more of their products other than formula performance as they become more educated in taking care of the environment at all levels of their daily lives. Our stock and custom package offerings combine our knowledge of package engineering combined with our use of sustainable materials for our packaging product offerings.
Post Consumer Recycling Materials Process
The process of developing PCR plastic begins with the collection and sorting of recycled products in commercial and residential recycling programs (i.e. paper, plastic, metal, cardboard and aluminum cans). The collected materials are separated, washed and sorted in to the proper recycle channels. The recyclable plastic is extruded & reprocessed into post-consumer plastic resins pellets and categorized by resin material PP, HDPE - etc. PCR plastic consists of a specific recycled resin that would have otherwise ended up in landfills that is now offered as a clean and sustainable option in your packaging products. We offer PCR plastic (Post Consumer Resin) as a sustainable solution for environmentally friendly packaging.
Sustainable Packaging
Nate Packaging currently offers the following materials in their sustainability offerings: PCR in HDPE, PP, and PET at levels up to 100% in our product packaging depending on design and package performance requirement. We have developed packages using bio-resins made from renewable resources in HDPE derived from plants and starch based materials. We have produced caps, bottles, tubes, color cosmetics packages in PCR resins up to 100% of the base resin materials.
Let Nate Packaging help your company achieve their sustainability goals in bringing your next product packaging to the market with an eco-friendly story for your environmentally conscious consumer.
